Hakai - Delete Your Data
Last updated: 21 October 2026
Hakai: Terms of Service · Privacy Policy · Delete your data
Hakai is published by 5PTS Games LLC. The game saves your progress on your phone. When you are online it also keeps a copy of that save, including a record of your real-money purchases, in a cloud save run for us by Unity Technologies, under an account the game creates for you automatically (it holds no name, email address or password). This happens for every player. When you are signed in to Google Play Games - by the game itself, if Google Play Games on your phone signs you in to games automatically, or by you - that account is linked to your Play Games account so the copy can be found on another phone. Our advertising, measurement and analytics partners also collect data, as the privacy policy (https://5ptsgames.com/hakai/privacy.html) describes.
You can have everything we hold about you deleted: most of it in the game, all of it by email. One thing to know first: the game deletes the cloud account it is using now. If its data was cleared, or it was reinstalled, while you were not signed in to Google Play Games, it made a new account, and an older one can only be deleted by email (below).
Delete your data in the game
- Open Hakai, then Settings > Cloud Save.
- Tap Delete cloud data, and confirm.
You need to be online. This works whether or not you signed in with Google Play Games. It deletes, straight away:
- the copy of your save held online, with the purchase records in it;
- any saved games set aside in the cloud when you chose between two copies of your game;
- your cloud account.
Cloud save then stays off on that phone until you turn it back on in the same place.
It does not delete:
- The save on your phone, with its own record of your purchases, and any saved games set aside beside it when the game loaded your cloud save or you chose between two copies. Remove them by uninstalling the game or clearing its storage (Android Settings > Apps > Hakai > Storage).
- An older cloud account the game no longer uses, after its data was cleared or it was reinstalled without Google Play Games. Email us as below.
- A note of items our support team added to your game, if we ever did - the game cannot delete it. Email us as below and we delete it.
- The purchase and sign-in records Unity's in-app purchasing service keeps for us (the privacy policy, section 2.2). Email us as below and we ask Unity to delete them.
- The game on your other devices. If Hakai is installed on another device signed in to the same Google Play Games account, that device backs its own save up again the next time it is online. Delete there too, or uninstall it.
- Google's records. Your Google Play orders and your Play Games profile are Google's; manage them in your Google Account and your Play Games profile.
Request deletion by email - without the game
Email contact@5ptsgames.com with the subject Data Deletion Request. Your Cloud player ID is the surest way to find your account. The others can help us look, but may not be enough on their own:
- your Cloud player ID (in the game, Settings > Support);
- your Google Play Games gamer name, if you signed in with Google Play Games;
- a Google Play order number for something you bought in Hakai (it starts with GPA. and is in Google's receipt email);
- or write from the email address of the Google account you play or bought with.
We delete everything we hold for the account we find - your cloud save, the saved games set aside, any note of items support added, and your cloud account, and we ask Unity to delete the purchase records its in-app purchasing service keeps for us - within 30 days, and confirm by email. We keep only your request and our reply, for 12 months, to show the deletion was done. Where you ask, we also pass your request on to our advertising, measurement and analytics partners. If we cannot find an account from what you give us, we tell you so.
An older account, or one you can no longer open. If you were never signed in to Google Play Games, a cloud account belongs to one installation of the game: after a reinstall or cleared data, the game cannot reach the one before. We can find it from its Cloud player ID (if you noted it from Settings > Support); a gamer name or an order number may not lead to it. If nothing you can give us leads to an account, we cannot find it either, and we tell you so.
Deleting is not a refund
Deleting your data does not refund anything, and is not a reason for a refund. What you bought with money is not lost by it:
- Cars, skin bundles and No Ads bought with money come back with Settings > Restore Purchases, on any device signed in to the same Google Play account, because Google keeps a record of them.
- Gem packs, coins, your progress, and anything bought with gems live only in your save. Once the cloud copy is deleted and the save on your phone is gone too, they cannot be brought back, by you or by us. (The gems that come with the No Ads + Gems bundle come back with the bundle.)
For a refund, use Google Play's refund process, or see section 5.4 of the Terms of Service (https://5ptsgames.com/hakai/terms.html).
Advertising and analytics data
- Reset or delete your Advertising ID: on Android, Settings > Google > Ads, then "Delete advertising ID".
- Change or withdraw consent: in Hakai, Settings > Privacy Choices (shown where a consent law applies).
- Ask the partners directly: Unity (LevelPlay, Unity Ads) through the "Privacy Rights" section of https://unity.com/legal/game-player-and-app-user-privacy-policy; GameAnalytics at privacy@gameanalytics.com; the others through the links in the privacy policy's section 4. Or ask us and we pass it on.
